Recently, the Shanghai Stock Exchange released the evaluation results of information disclosure work of listed companies in Shanghai for the year of 2020-2021, and Rizhao Port (600017.SH) won the top grade evaluation of "A" category of annual information disclosure work for four consecutive years by virtue of sound business performance, standardized company operation, high-quality information disclosure and good investor relations management level. For the fourth consecutive year, the company has been awarded the highest grade of "A" for annual information disclosure.

According to the published results show that the total number of listed companies in Shanghai city involved in the evaluation is 1574, the total number of listed companies evaluated "A" is 307, accounting for 19.5%, and a total of 5 listed companies in coastal ports have been awarded this honor.

It is reported that, since the implementation of the SSE "listed companies information disclosure evaluation methods", each year will be a comprehensive evaluation of the information disclosure of listed companies, the evaluation results are divided into A, B, C, D four major regulatory categories, A class represents the SSE's highest evaluation of the information disclosure of listed companies.

According to the relevant provisions of the M&A and Reorganization Audit and Review Branching System Implementation Plan of the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC), companies whose listed companies' information disclosure and standardized operation are evaluated as Class A can enjoy exemption/expedited auditing when they carry out M&A and reorganization, which will provide a strong safeguard for listed companies' refinancing in the future.
